Sixth Form Expectations

We strive at LPGS6 to support our students to achieve strong examination results which enable them to secure their chosen destinations. To ensure students reach their full potential, it is essential that they meet certain expectations. The school expects students to:

• Attend school regularly and arrive on time for both registration and lessons

• Plan their study schedules carefully to maximise learning and ensure that assigned work is completed thoroughly and submitted on time

• Go beyond the assigned work to deepen their understanding of the subjects they are studying

• Work quietly and respectfully in all designated Sixth Form study areas

• Take responsibility for their own learning and use independent study time effectively

Students are expected to dedicate a minimum of six hours of work per subject, per fortnight, in addition to their scheduled lessons.
